The Arduino Nano is the 'Swiss Army Knife' of any maker's tool set. You can do so much with them. Based around the ATMEGA328P, these have an I2C Bus, a SPI Bus, and an UART Serial Connection. The Nano also has a built in voltage regulator that allows the user to use the VIN pins and power it off as much as 12V without an issue. We've ran them off of 9V batteries and car batteries in the past and didn't have any trouble with that.
There are two major options. First, we can solder the pin headers onto the Nano before shipping. Second, we can add an USB Mini cable to your order.
These are a generic version of the Arduino Nano and is NOT the Arduino branded product, but it meets the guidelines laid out by the Arduino group.
